According to the latest September 23 price information, the domestic 14.2-kg LPG cylinder remains at ₹942 in Delhi, while the price is ₹941.50 in Mumbai and ₹968 in Kolkata. Chennai’s rate is ₹957.50, while Hyderabad’s price is ₹994.
The domestic LPG rate has remained unchanged in major cities during the latest monthly revision. However, commercial LPG prices have moved higher, affecting restaurants, hotels, small businesses and other commercial users.
The current commercial 19-kg cylinder price is ₹2,747.50 in Delhi, ₹2,701 in Mumbai and ₹2,884 in Kolkata. Chennai’s commercial cylinder is priced at ₹2,916.50.
LPG Aadhaar Authentication Rule From October 1

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry has announced that domestic LPG consumers will need to complete Biometric Aadhaar Authentication (BAA) to book subsidised refills at the regulated retail selling price from October 1, 2026.
The government said that 27.43 crore active domestic LPG consumers, representing 89.9% of active consumers as of September 19, had already completed the authentication process.
Consumers who have not completed the process are being encouraged to do so before the October 1 deadline.
