Vivo V80 price in India is expected to start at Rs. 63,000

The vivo V80 price in India has become one of the biggest smartphone searches ahead of the phone’s official launch. Vivo is preparing to introduce the new V-series smartphone in India on October 6, 2026, bringing a combination of a high-refresh-rate OLED display, ZEISS cameras, a large battery and fast charging. The company has already confirmed several key features, while the expected India price has reportedly leaked ahead of the launch.

Vivo V80 Price in India

The official Vivo V80 price in India has not been announced by Vivo at the time of writing. However, a recent price leak suggests that the smartphone could start at around Rs. 63,000 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model.

The leaked pricing is reportedly:

  • 8GB + 128GB: Rs. 63,000
  • 8GB + 256GB: Rs. 70,000
  • 8GB + 512GB: Rs. 80,000

These figures are based on a leak and should not be treated as the final retail prices until Vivo officially announces them.

The expected pricing would put the Vivo V80 in a premium segment and significantly above the launch price of its predecessor, the Vivo V70. The V70 started at Rs. 45,999 in India for the 8GB + 256GB variant.

Vivo V80 India Launch Date

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V80 will launch in India on October 6, 2026, at 12 PM IST. After the launch, the smartphone is expected to be available through Vivo’s India website, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail stores.

The phone will reportedly be offered in three colour options: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black.

Vivo V80 Display and Design

The Vivo V80 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Vivo says the display can reach a local peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits and supports 1.07 billion colours.

The 144Hz refresh rate should provide smoother scrolling, animations and supported gaming compared with conventional 60Hz or 120Hz displays. The smartphone also features a premium design with a one-piece glass construction and a floating camera module.

Vivo V80 Camera Features

Camera performance is expected to be one of the biggest attractions of the Vivo V80. The smartphone comes with a ZEISS-branded camera system, including a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ZEISS Night Telephoto camera.

The telephoto camera supports 3x optical zoom and up to 100x zoom, while the front camera is a 50MP ZEISS Group Selfie camera with a 92-degree field of view and autofocus.

For video recording, the Vivo V80 supports 4K video, including 4K recording at 60fps, along with cinematic video features designed for creators and vloggers.

Vivo V80 Battery and Charging

Another major highlight is the phone’s 7,200mAh battery, which Vivo describes as the largest battery capacity in its V-Series smartphones launched in India.

The device also supports 90W FlashCharge fast charging. Vivo claims the phone can provide up to 14 hours of navigation and up to 39.5 hours of local video playback under its laboratory testing conditions.

Vivo V80 Processor and Software

The Vivo V80 is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. Reports also point to 8GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, although buyers should check the final configuration announced by Vivo.

The smartphone will be among the first Vivo V-Series devices to launch with Android 17-based OriginOS 7, bringing new software features and AI-powered functions.

Vivo V80: What Buyers Can Expect

The Vivo V80 is shaping up as a premium smartphone focused heavily on photography, display quality, battery life and fast charging. Its 144Hz 1.5K OLED display, ZEISS camera system, 7,200mAh battery and 90W charging could make it an interesting option for users looking for a high-end Android smartphone.

However, the final Vivo V80 price in India remains important. If the leaked Rs. 63,000 starting price is confirmed, buyers will likely compare the phone with other premium smartphones in the same price range.

Vivo is expected to reveal the official price, complete specifications and availability details during the India launch on October 6. Until then, the leaked prices should be considered unofficial.
