Rajasthan Gets ₹48,453 Crore Investment Proposals
One of the biggest Rajasthan business news today developments is the state’s latest investment activity through the RajNivesh single-window platform.
Rajasthan received investment proposals worth ₹48,453.05 crore in August 2026, according to the state’s Chief Secretary. Between April and August, 25,745 applications were approved through the portal. Jaipur recorded the highest number of approvals at 4,788, followed by Jodhpur with 1,897 and Ajmer with 1,270.
Major areas attracting investment interest include renewable and conventional energy, energy parks, industrial parks, cement, tourism, hospitality and real estate. The figures indicate continued business activity across several parts of Rajasthan.
RIICO Opens More Than 4,700 Industrial and Logistics Plots
The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation, or RIICO, has opened its 14th allotment round, offering more than 4,700 industrial and logistics plots across 94 areas.
The latest allotment is linked to investment commitments made under the Rising Rajasthan programme. Applications are open until October 12, while the proposed e-lottery is scheduled for October 15.
The new industrial plots could support companies looking to establish factories, warehouses and logistics facilities in different parts of the state. The initiative is also aimed at converting announced investment commitments into actual projects.
Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Area Opens New Plots
Another major industrial development is taking place in western Rajasthan. The Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Area (JPMIA) has opened applications for 30 plots in its first direct-allotment phase.
The package includes 28 industrial plots and two plots intended for motels or restaurants. Of the industrial plots, 23 are located in the textile zone and five in the general zone.
The JPMIA is being developed under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor programme. Its first phase covers approximately 1,578 acres between Jodhpur and Pali and is expected to support sectors including textiles, apparel, agro and food processing, engineering goods, automobiles, handicrafts and building materials.
The wider project has the potential to attract around ₹10,000 crore in investment and generate approximately two lakh employment opportunities, according to the report.
Renewable Energy Investment Expands
Renewable energy remains an important part of Rajasthan industry news. Nuvoco Vistas Corp has partnered with Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions for a hybrid renewable-energy project in Rajasthan.
The proposed project combines wind, solar power and battery storage, with a planned capacity of 46.4 MW. Nuvoco will acquire a 26% stake in the special-purpose vehicle for the project.
The development reflects the growing interest among energy-intensive industries in captive renewable power as companies seek cleaner electricity and greater control over energy costs.
Small Green Energy Parks Planned for MSMEs
Rajasthan is also preparing smaller renewable-energy parks aimed at commercial consumers, industrial companies and MSMEs.
The first phase is planned to include a 50 MW solar project in Jodhpur district. The initiative is designed to give businesses another way to access renewable electricity without having to develop large power projects independently.
The plan could be particularly relevant for smaller manufacturers and businesses that want to increase their use of renewable energy.
Tourism Sector Sees ₹3,000 Crore Projects
Tourism continues to be an important part of the Rajasthan economy. Around ₹3,000 crore in tourism investments are currently at the groundbreaking stage across important destinations in the state.
The Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart held in Jaipur also highlighted rising domestic travel demand and opportunities for tourism businesses. Industry representatives have pointed to air connectivity, heritage tourism and development of smaller destinations as important areas for future growth.
The broader tourism investment pipeline under Rising Rajasthan MoUs has been reported at around ₹1.38 lakh crore.
Rajasthan Promotes Local Products and MSMEs
Rajasthan is also increasing market opportunities for local enterprises. The state is preparing to showcase 38 One District One Product (ODOP) enterprises and artisans at the Bharat ODOP Sangam in New Delhi during October.
The programme is intended to improve market access and visibility for district-level products, giving artisans and small businesses opportunities to reach larger buyers.
