• President Murmu Sends Teachers’ Day Greetings
President Droupadi Murmu extended her greetings to teachers across the country on the eve of Teachers’ Day. In her message, she paid tribute to Dr Radhakrishnan and highlighted the important role educators play in nurturing talent and strengthening students’ character.

• Teachers Selected Through Three-Stage Process
The 48 award recipients were selected through a three-stage process at the district, state and national levels. The selected teachers come from 27 states, seven Union Territories and six Central Government organisations. The group includes 26 male and 22 female teachers.
