Two male suspects were arrested near the scene, while the other alleged offenders escaped. Police also towed three vehicles believed to have been left by the group as part of their investigation. No occupants of the house were physically injured.

Sydney Pedestrian Death Under Investigation
A man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Chatswood, on Sydney’s North Shore.
Emergency services were called to Alleyne Street after reports that a pedestrian had been hit. Paramedics treated the man at the scene, but he died from his injuries. His identity had not yet been formally confirmed at the time of reporting.
NSW Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

A major homicide investigation in Sydney’s west has resulted in an 18-year-old being charged with murder.
Police allege the teenager was involved in the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man at a home in Merrylands West on September 2. Investigators reportedly seized a drone during a search of a property in West Hoxton and examined it for evidence that allegedly connected the teenager to the shooting.
The teenager was also charged with participating in a criminal group and was refused bail.
